Title III refers to the U.S. Department of Education Strengthening Institutions Program grants. These five-year grants  total $2.25M and can be used to strengthen your institution in the distinct ways that you seek to address retention and graduation goals. This makes Title III grants extremely unique, but highly competitive. Title III grant competitions occur biennially, and winning grants generally receive a perfect or near-perfect score.
